Healt İn Turkey is an independent medical-tourism information platform. We do not own clinics, accept commission per booking or publish paid editorial. This page sets out who writes our content, who reviews it, and how we research it.

Editorial team

How we research

Every hub, country and procedure page is built from:

• Primary sources — clinic public price lists, accreditation databases (JCI, GHA), national authority portals (Türkiye Sağlık Bakanlığı, NHS, CDC, Auswärtiges Amt), peer-reviewed surgical literature where relevant.
• Cross-checks — at least two independent sources for any cost figure, technique description or safety statistic. If sources disagree, we publish the range.
• No promotional copy — we do not republish clinic marketing material. All figures are restated in our own words and dated.

How we review

• Every medical statement is reviewed by a qualified medical professional before publication or after substantial edits.
• All pages carry a visible “Last updated” date.
• If a page references a procedure technique, safety figure or cost band that changes, the page is re-checked on the monthly review cycle.

Conflicts of interest

We do not accept paid clinic listings. When a clinic is mentioned by name, the reason is explained on the page (e.g. JCI-accredited, large surgeon roster, transparent pricing). We do not accept gifts, free treatments or trip sponsorship from clinics or hospitals.

Corrections policy

If you spot a factual error — particularly anything affecting patient safety or cost accuracy — email [email protected]. We respond within five working days and publish a dated correction note at the bottom of the affected page.

Patient stories & consent

Any patient quote, photograph or case described on the site is published only with the explicit, written consent of the patient (KVKK-compliant). We do not show before/after images without consent and a stated treatment context. See our reviews policy for details.

Independence statement

Healt İn Turkey is not part of any clinic group, hospital chain or treatment broker. We do not receive per-patient or per-booking commission. Operating costs are met from the parent business and not contingent on individual patient enquiries.
